Our founder:

Zianna Weston founded The Basic Cinephile in 2019. She now wears all of the hats including: founder, contributor, editor, social media manager, podcast producer and host, and probably a thousand others that she can’t think of at the moment.

 

Contributors:

 

Edelia Weston was the first person to join The Basic Cinephile at the end of 2019. She is a contributor, content creator, podcast producer and host, and whatever else our founder Zianna (aka Edelia’s bossy older sister) needs her to be.

 

Tanya Djavadzadeh has been a contributor for The Basic Cinephile since 2022.
